DESCRIPTION:June 8-10\, 2017 – Bolivar\, MO. Join us on the Show Me Tour for three days of touring in southwest Missouri. \nThis is a hub tour based in Bolivar. Cars will arrive Wednesday for check in on June 7. We will visit the childhood home of \nPresident Harry Truman in Lamar\, Mo. on Thursday. Friday we will travel to the Lake of the Ozarks to see the remains on the \ncastle called HaHa Tonka. On Saturday we have a return visit to the Hanger Kafe to watch the skydivers. And\, if you choose\, \nyou can jump on a tandem jump with one of the instructors. SUMMARY:The 2017 International Speedsters Trials & Reunion
DESCRIPTION:June 21-24 (Wed-Sat)\, 2017 – Lincoln\, NE. \nThe 2017 International Speedsters Trials & Reunion will be hosted by Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed. \nEvents will include; \n– A road trip of around 150 miles through rural Nebraska\, mostly or all on two-lane paved roads. \n– A Hill Climb competition\, with classes for cars powered by pre-1935 four-cylinder engines\, regardless of manufacture. \n– A full morning at the dyno shop\, where their crew will dyno any and all registered cars whose owners would choose to do so. \n– Induction of the 2017 honorees into the MTFCA Speedster and Racer Hall of Fame. \n– Other activities inside and outside of our museum\, as well as many hours set aside for museum touring. \nWe work hard to make each biennial Speedsters Reunion here a celebration of the fun and excitement that can be had with autos powered by early \nfour-cylinder engines\, and at any stage of tuning or modification. All enthusiasts of early 4-cyl powered cars\, regardless of manufacture or \ncurrent body style\, are encouraged to attend. \nYou absolutely do not have to currently own or bring an early 4-cyl-engined speedster\, rod or stock-bodied car to join in the fun\, but you’ll \nwish you did when you get here. If you or your friends are considering building or buying a speedster\, this will be a great venue for meeting \nand talking with current owners and builders.
