DESCRIPTION: South Mountain Environmental Education Center celebration of 100 years of stewardship. \nWe will have 1 or 2 T’s displayed at the entrance to the building. They have just finished remodeling this facility and this will also be the dedication. The event lasts from 9 AM to 11 AM . Ken\, I and any other member that would like to caravan to 10409 S. Central Ave\, Phoenix are welcome to meet at Ken and Cher Henry’s house (2702 West Kiva Ave. Mesa\, AZ 85202) and drive at 7:30 AM to the Center. We plan to arrive at South Mountain by 8:30 AM.\n    There will be one or two food trucks there for food. We can tour the center and learn more about the Phoenix South Mountain Park\, it’s history\, flora and fauna.

SUMMARY:Veteran's Day parade (Downtown Mesa)
DESCRIPTION:All you veterans\, display the flag of your service. If you have a flag of your service\, lets display them. \nVeteran’s Day parade (Downtown Mesa)\nNovember 11 9:00 am – 1:00 pm \nThe club will be meeting at the Food City (formally Bashas’) parking lot on the Southwest corner of Brown and Mesa Dr. at 9:00 am. From there we will travel together to the registration tent. Staging area 52 \nThe club should arrive at 9:30 am. at the staging area.\nUpon arrival\, travel south on Center Street. EVVP Staff wearing orange and yellow traffic control vests will meet you at the entry. This is where all vehicles will be checked for a valid license and proof of insurance along with receiving their staging number\, and where the Staff will direct you to your assigned staging location. Please keep moving until you reach your assigned staging location. If your group has multiple units\, it is strongly suggested that you meet at an off-site location of your choice to get your group together before entering the staging area. This will greatly simplify your staging process and work well for both you and the EVVP Staff.
